The Marine Ecosystem Health Network (MEHN) encompasses an international consortium of research, veterinary, government, university, and non-government scientists that investigate the population health and status of marine mammals and other marine vertebrates and invertebrates.

We undertake comprehensive, large scale studies of marine populations to understand the impact of infectious and non-infectious diseases on human, animal, and marine ecosystem health.

…to support research and foster broad collaborations with stranding networks, research scientists, veterinarians and field biologists to better understand marine ecosystem health dynamics and address anthropogenic and environmental changes that compromise the health of marine organisms.
